Patrick started his music career upon graduation from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1990, touring nationally and internationally with the United States Marine Corps, U.S. He is also proud to serve as the Percussion instructor for Ellet High School and Hyre Middle School. Patrick Wagner is currently Adjunct Faculty at Youngstown State University where he serves as a percussion/piano staff accompanist for the Department of Dance and teaches applied dance accompaniment lessons in the Percussion Department for the Dana School of Music.   • Alumni have also taken that ability into other fields: Human and Veterinary Medicine, Law, Sports Management, and more.
  • Musical study builds self-knowledge and skill in skill-building itself.
  • Alumni have gone on to major in music education, percussion performance, and music technology at DePaul University, The University of Cincinnati Conservatory, Ohio State, The University of Akron, and more.
  • Students past and present are/have been members of the Akron Youth Symphony and Cleveland Youth Orchestra, the Ohio State University Marching Band, successful Pop and Progressive Rock bands, and more.
  • Comfortable lesson studio is well-equipped with an acoustic drum set, practice pad set, 4.3-octave marimba, bells, CD/video players, whiteboard, many accessory instruments, and a large library of books, recordings and sheet music.
  • Students progressively develop techniques, vocabulary and musicality on snare drum and mallet/keyboard percussion plus drumset, Concert and Latin accessory percussion, and steel drums, according to the student's needs and goals.
  • Students learn to perform, read, write, and aurally recognize rhythmic vocabulary IN TEMPO.
  • Clear, specific, patient, step-by-step instruction.
